live radio interview, conducted by phone from motel room. The really great
thing about radio: you don't have to wear anything at all. No time to be
nervous -- I phone in at appointed hour, and boom, I'm on. Twenty minutes
of chatting about myself with host. Host asks if we can do this again once
a week or so for remainder of book tour. Of course I say yes. After all,
as a memoirist, my favorite subject is me.
